The new SunX Solar pool collector from Heliocol is being launched here in Australia at the SPLASH! Show 2012 in July.

 

The SunX solar pool heating system has involved more than five years in development. The new technology is so unique and sophisticated that many other energy industries are interested in further applications in addition to swimming pool heating.

 

One look at the new SunX collector and you can see why this unique technology is so efficient. Heliocol extrudes its collector feature right inside a special lifetime glazing material. This glazing significantly increases the performance of the solar pool collector while reducing solar radiation refraction during the colder months. This allows more solar heating during these typically colder months where traditional solar would not contribute energy to the pool.

 

Increased efficiency means a SunX system also requires a much smaller roof area.

 

The result is a longer and warmer swimming season.
